Breese Optimist Fall Fest set for Saturday at Northside Park

   There will be activities for all ages during this year's Breese Optimist Club Fall Fest on Saturday at Northside Park.
    The Fall Fest will be from 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m. with various events throughout the day.
    The event kicks off with a free Moonbird Yoga session at 9 a.m. The vendor fair is from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., bounce houses are 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and JCP Concessions are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
    There will be a car show at noon and cruise-in will be anytime after the show.
    The afternoon will feature chili tasting from 1-5:30 p.m., homebrew tasting from 1-5:30 p.m., Rainbow Ranch petting zoo from 1-4 p.m. and a foam party from 2-4 p.m.
    The homebrew competition is one of the highlights of the day.
    "The people are telling us this is the World Series in their homebrew world," Breese Optimist Club President Jason Davinroy said. "We have got folks that come from multiple states and a lot of teams again this year."
    Takozz Taco and Suits Me BBQ will be available for evening eats from 6-8 p.m.
    Live music and stage schedule will be Identity-Central High School Rock Band from 1-2 p.m., The Beat School of Dance from 2:10-2:30 p.m., Knoisemakers and the Silent Partners from 2:40-4 p.m., Array Band from 4:30-6 p.m. and Sean Canan's Voodoo Players from 7-9:30 p.m. Announcements and awards will be from 6-6:30 p.m.
    The day also will feature a 9U baseball tournament, basketball tournament, and sand volleyball tournament.
    All of the money raised goes back to the youth of Clinton County.
    "We have got a lot of bands and a lot of fun for the families," Davinroy said.
