Quilt raffle to be held at Germantown
A raffle for 20 hand-quilted, queen-size quilts will be held Sunday, June 14, at St. Boniface Parish in Germantown. Only 500 tickets, at $25 each, will be sold, and if your ticket is drawn, it goes back in for another chance to win.
To purchase a ticket, mail a check to: St. Boniface Parish, P.O. Box 280, Germantown, IL 62245, and include your name and a valid telephone number. If you want your ticket stub, include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Tickets also are available at Germantown Trust and Savings Banks in Bartelso, Breese and Germantown. Quilts can be viewed on St. Boniface Church website.
Rummage sale at St. Augustine Parish
A rummage sale will be held at St. Augustine Parish, 300 S. Main Street in Breese, on Thursday, June 18, 1-8 p.m., with a $3 entry fee; Friday, June 19, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (full price) and 1-7 p.m. (half price); Saturday, June 20, 9 a.m.-noon ($4 brown bag day). There will be a bake sale on Thursday.
Donated items may be dropped off June 6-7-8-9, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. or until full.
