RE: State of Illinois Paratransit Vehicle Grant for community inclusion enhancements for adults with developmental disabilities
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Community Link, Inc,.

For the purpose of considering a project for which financial assistance is being sought from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), pursuant to IDOT’s general authority to make such grants, and which is generally described as follows:
A. Description of project: To better achieve Agency initiatives for enhanced community integration through the acquisition of IDOT 5310 grant vehicles.
B. This project will be included in a Consolidated Vehicle Procurement (CVP) Program undertaken by the State of Illinois on behalf of Community Link, Inc with federal funds.
C. Relocation – Relocation Assistance will not be required.
D. Environment – This project is being implemented to minimize environmental impact.
E. Comprehensive Planning – This project is in conformance with comprehensive transportation planning in the area.
F. Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities – All new equipment included in this project will meet ADA-accessibility requirements for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
At the hearing, Community Link, Inc will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit verbally or in writing, evidence and recommendations with respect to said project.
A copy of the application for a state grant for the proposed project for the intended service area will be made available public inspection at Community Link, Inc. 1665 North 4th Street, Breese, IL 62230

Notice of Public Hearing on Annexation Agreement
City Council, Carlyle, Illinois
On August 24, 2026, at 6:45 p.m., a public heading will be held by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Carlyle, at the Case Halstead Library, 550 6th Street, Carlyle, Illinois, for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony as to an ordinance authorizing the execution of an annexation agreement in regard to the annexation to the City of Carlyle, Illinois, of a tract of property comprising approximately 40.58 acres of land and legally described as follows:
Lot 4 of Southtown Estates, Second Addition, a subdivision recorded as Doc. No. 2021R06154 in P.E. 825C of the Clinton County, Illinois, Recorder's Office and Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 2 North, Range 3 West of the Third Principal Meridian, Clinton County, Illinois.
It is proposed that the subject property be zoned for R-1 comprising single-family residences, in accordance with the annexation agreement. An accurate map of the subject property proposed to be annexed to the City and the form of the proposed annexation agreement are on file with the City Clerk.
You are further notified that the proposed annexation agreement may be changed, altered, modified, amended, or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing.
All interest parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
