Hayley Palm joins Community Link as Communications and Outreach manager

Hayley Palm    Community Link is proud to announce the hiring of Hayley Palm as Communications and Outreach manager.
    Palm, a resident of Aviston and graduate of Mater Dei High School, continued her education at John A. Logan College, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree, before receiving her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. During her time at both institutions, Palm was an active member of the softball teams, balancing academics with athletics.
    Palm brings valuable experience in event management, social media strategy, and community engagement. She began her professional career with Poettker Construction, a longtime community partner of Community Link, where she co-led company events, managed social media platforms, and participated in a variety of community outreach initiatives, including spending time with Community Link participants.
    With a passion for communication and community involvement, Palm is excited to expand her knowledge of the nonprofit sector and looks forward to sharing and advancing the story of Community Link.
    “I am so happy to have Hayley joining the team,” said Michelle Delfel, director of donor engagement of Community Link. “Her knowledge and creativity will help us continue to share great stories and connect with our stakeholders.”
    In her role, she will help amplify Community Link’s mission by promoting news and updates through press releases, social media, and meaningful storytelling. As a member of the development team, Palm will play an active role in fundraising and event planning while building strong relationships throughout the community. She will also work closely with volunteers, particularly during Community Link Buddy Walks and galas.
    Community Link, a nonprofit agency, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through a person-centered approach that promotes self-directed living choices and community integration opportunities.
